    Q: When does the UPS / FedEx Rate Change take effect?
    A: UPS has announced a rate increase effective December 31, 2007 and FedEx has announced a rate increase effective January 7, 2008. This means that you must update your Neopost scale or software solution by the exact date to take advantage of the changes.

    Q: What do I need to do?
    A: If you have a Neopost RCP (Rate Change Protection) contract or SoftwareAdvantage, a Rate-Pak™ or CD will be shipped to you at no additional charge. Simply follow the instructions included with the device or click here to download the installation guide for your scale or software.

    If you do not have a RCP (Rate Change Protection) contract, the new rate software will be automatically shipped prior to the effective date and your company will be invoiced the cost.

    Q: Do I really need to change the rates in my system?
    A: YES, but only if you use UPS or FedEx for shipping. If you do not change the rates in your system, you will have incorrect rates for your parcels and/or mail after December 31, 2007 (UPS) or January 7, 2008 (FedEx).

    Q: When will you ship me my new rate module?
    A: Neopost will ship your updated Rate-Pak™ 3-5 days prior to the UPS effective rate change date.
